During rig up time for Sundays Club Championship Race, the breeze was quite light, this led to most of the Skiffs choosing to use the bigger of their 2 rigs. At start time the wind increased, with gusts of 30 knots being recorded throughout the race. These gusts were way too strong for the big rig, leading to some interesting scenes out on the water. The ATB Morton Skiff was in the lead when this photo was taken. He managed to capture a great shot of the team nosediving down a wave. On the next lap of the race, ATB Morton capsized twice; both occasions being the result of a shredded Mainsheet Rope getting jammed in the Pulley. After being in the lead, a 3rd place finish was disappointing. However, the team were really happy with both theirs and the boats performance.
